KRISSY MUIR - DIRECT SERVICE WORKER

Human Support Services (HSS) is pleased to announce the hire of Kristine “Krissy” Muir as a direct care worker at the “Waterloo and Main” apartment sites.  Krissy resides in Waterloo and enjoys the outdoors, camping and spending time with her four-month-old grandson Nikholis.  Krissy will teach developmentally delayed clients daily living skills to help them live as independently as possible in the community.  In this role, she will teach/assist with daily living skills, pass medications, and provide social skills training.  She will be supervised by Site Manager Bobbi Walters.   HSS is a private not-for-profit agency established in 1973 and is always looking to serve additional clients.  Do you, your friends, your neighbors, your co-workers know of someone in need of behavioral health services?  If so, please encourage him/her to contact HSS at 618-939-4444.  HSS can offer housing and support services to those with developmental disabilities or mental health issues.  Further information can be accessed on the HSS website at www.hss1.org.  Do you, your friends, your neighbors, your co-workers know of someone with a desire to work in the human services field?  If so, please encourage him/her to contact HSS to fill out an application.  Direct service positions often become available and pay is matched with experience and related degrees.
