YEARS OF SERVICE RECOGNITION

 Human Support Services (HSS) recognized staff with 2013 anniversary milestones of 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years as well as all employees with 20 or more years of service.  Honorees included:  5 years: Rik Taylor, Ben Archer, Erin Schmitz, Julie Ruckman, Donna Harris, Ashley Guenther, 10 years: Lynn Lance, 15 years: Stacie Roy, 20 years: Glenda Bauza, over 20 years: Barbara Ruby, Sharon Brand, Susan Harbaugh, Dawn Garner.  On March 8, 2014, the employees were treated to dinner at the Acorns Golf Links.  A short program followed.  HSS employs nearly 70 staff at multiple locations throughout Monroe County.

The mission of HSS is to provide high quality, comprehensive services to Monroe County residents with mental health or substance abuse needs, or developmental disabilities.  HSS is a private, non-profit community resource founded in 1973, providing confidential COA-accredited services.  Thanks to the United Way of Greater St. Louis and the local Monroe County Community Mental Health Funding Board (H.B. 708), HSS can set fees that are affordable.  For further information, call 618-939-4444, visit www.hss1.org or become a friend on Facebook.
